Garment workers protest rally, red-flag procession held in Dhaka
Over a hundred garment workers today (July 24, 2015) staged a protest rally in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka city demanding the withdrawal of false case against 33 workers, including National Garment Workers Federation (NGWF) President & central leader of SKOP & Workers Party of Bangladesh labour leader Amirul Haque Amin, payment of just compensation to 900 workers of Starlight Garment and arrest of Cheat Baharane Sultan Bahar immediately. The rally, started at 11:00am, was followed by a red-flag procession that paraded important streets of the city chanting slogans on the same demands.
